SunWind Solutions produces web-based software for designing renewable energy systems. Not only does SunWind’s software cut design time from days to minutes, but it also increases accuracy, lowers costs, and eliminates the need for specialized training. Because renewable energy retailers can use it to design systems using only the products that they sell, this product will be a revolutionary tool for increasing their profitability.

SunWind Solutions was founded by Brad Van Orden, who became involved with renewable energy as an engineering student at NAU. As an undergraduate, he designed a hybrid renewable-energy system for a ranch as a part of an independent study. This study became the inspiration for SunWind.
